I love reading books in all different kinds of genres. It doesn’t matter if it is fiction or non-fiction, crime, thrillers, biographies, or business books. And because I want to share what I read and from what I learned something I wanted to add a book library section to my website.
Simple Book Library with GS Book Showcase Lite
After some research, it was quite easy to find something that will work for me and is easy to handle. I use for my library the plugin GS Book Showcase Lite. It is a simple option where you can add your books like a separate post and bring everything together on one page.
Just follow the instructions from the WordPress plugin page and you are all set. Not really any further configuration required. Create a new page and add the shortcode and you are ready to show all your books on one page.
You can head over to my book library and see what I’ve read that I find worth sharing. I read much more books than listed there but some of them were not worth the time. And some others I stopped reading after some pages as it was just boring or something very repetitive.
